After having my brother in town last week, I’ve been catching up on work this week, so I haven’t had much time to write. Today, I finally got around to downloading photos from my phone. Strangely enough, the last time I did it was the last day of preschool. This post is really for me to document our summer, but for those who are interested, here’s what we were up to!
Chase and I met my brother in Vegas!
Went to the pool almost every afternoon!
Celebrated friends’ 40th birthdays
Father’s Day dinner at Karl Strauss
Clay hanging with Shamu
First bob haircut!
Clay borrowing my reading material
Avery’s first movie in the theater
The kids’ stuffed animals kissed and made up
7th wedding anniversary…no itch here!
Crazy hair day at camp
A fake wedding
Avery swam on her own…then got scared!
Brought the kids to their first wedding
Clay got his first job, pouring ice for the bartender!
Avery’s first wedding dance with dad

From a suite at Petco Park, watching the Padres lose to the Yankees (boo!)
Clay waited two years for this movie!
Sibling golf lessons…luckily I still have all my windows!
Acting like a rock star at kindergarten orientation
First day of kindergarten!
Looking very grown up that first day

First day was rough!
A visit from Uncle Mikey…Clay never left his side!
Marine layer didn’t get in the way of building sandcastles with their aunt and uncle
Labor Day has come and gone, and today is the first day of NFL football. It definitely doesn’t feel like fall, but I’m hoping it’s as great as our summer was. Hope yours is too!
